Appearing in Himatsubushi-hen, Hondaya is a member of the Public Security who supports Akasaka in his search for the Minister's grandson. Hondaya serves in the Okinomiya Police Station
Personality[]
Hondaya has an easy-going and friendly personality. He jokes with Akasaka that "Riot Squad Chief Sankai browbeat" him into helping him. He is a friend and probable superior of Ōishi. Hondaya is able to teasingly call Ōishi "Kura-chan" when Ōishi joins them. He then more formally introduces Ōishi as "Kuraudo-kun."
