Hehe, funny comment sighted. Just a factoid from the games I picked up on the AnimeSuki forums that is actually makes sense out of one of this arc's parts: Satoko and Satoshi are colorblind. Hence Takano's "Which is green? Cauliflower, or broccoli?" discussions. One was back in the Irie Clinic, and the second was when Takano cruelly asks Satoko before shooting her in the head.
Also, there is another large distortion from the games, which would be the absence of Hanyuu's time stop. I don't really remember the details, but it had something to do with freezing time before Takano killed everyone, and during the time stop Keiichi is found to have been shot (which was kept in the anime) and gives his death speech before the time stop is ended.
The characters are also killed off in a different order, though I don't remember which. I believe whatever I was reading (now that I think about it, it was probably Klashikari's Wordpress article on this episode) at the time also said Mion's death was much less heroic in the game. Just some notes for people to look into. ;3
